Good morning that wonderful way to start.

Due to be an excellent answer to how's the weather today, 'Nice day, today," kind of day.

Growing things and doing things to grow things and this and that and a freewrite stream of consciousness dream of us, seem of us...get the kinks out of us so we can get to the good stuff.

Robins!

A family of robins built a nest across from the porch I sit on to write, relax and watch the grass grow.

That's not a metaphor by the way, I really do sit there and watch the grass grow.

Extend it if you will, all things are metaphors on some metaphysical metaphorical map of language.

Everything's a pun if you shake it enough.

Even a fat family of American Robins living off the seeds I plant.

I sow and the family of fat, well to do American Robins take.

I told them they can stay if they help aerate the soil and control the grub population.

They agreed.

They even teamed up with Abe to help keep the squirrels out.

Watching a Fat American Papa Robin, and a Texas Hound, chase away a New England squirrel from taking all my hard work, is a good moment, an extended metaphor worth the time, thoughts, and words.

Of which, my dear fat, metaphorical or not, robins, I'll leave you to understand.
