Walking in Lights Out Places

2024.07.26

Good morning that wonderful place.

And hello again, it's me.

What next?

Keep your eyes forward, your mind on your work and walk on.

'Don't rush; don't rest,' a paraphrase of Goethe.

One of my favorite quotes.

Just keep going.

Do your work and keep it going.

Put today into the piece.

Then wake and put the new today in.

Wake and add every new today into your work.

That's all we can do.

Add today to each relationship in our lives.

Choose what's important.

And do the day to serve that dream.

Another favorite quote from a long-ago friend of mines grandfather: "Do the best with what you have to work with."

Eventually, what you have to work with grows.

By feeding each day with your consistent desired work, your work is added exponentially to every day.

Eventually your whole day serves your ambition.

Supports your dream.

Just keep going to keep it going.

Sometimes the steps necessary to accomplish what's in your heart seem like detours.

But, stay steadfast to the feeling and flux of your vision, unfaltering, follow your intuition and press on.

The bigger the dream the more days need to be fed.

If what you were doing was simple others would've done it.

If you wish to pave a new path, then the walking of the path also involves clearing.

Slash through the debris and march on.

It's dark work, walking in lights out places, finding lights to light, watching each step to make a place for each new step.

Keep your eyes on that prize, watch your step, make a place for the next one, take it and repeat.

Press on.

At your own chosen pace, press on, love your day, live your day.

Find the light switch in the dark.

Flip it on.

And press on.
