Peace of mind is what most of us look for.

The world can be so loud.

Beeps from binary blips, trips to work, to schools, to the store, to the kitchen for the coffee for the energy to take those trips.

Peace of mind. One reason for longhand is it lends itself better to a slow peace.

Journalism and quick beach reads go best on keyboards.

Cleaning out the subconscious bilge that accumulates at times is best done typing. The 'freewrite sprint' is like a vacuum for pent up words. Helpful until the mind is clean. After that it's just compulsion.

If the house is clean, Mother Hen, there are better tasks to do.

Like enjoy the place.

So enjoy it.

One of the benefits of waking up early is peace of mind.

Your time goes at your pace and not the hurry up tics and tocks of other’s clocks.

A life spent with early morning days is easier to live well than any other.

The day is yours, not the clocks.

At some point my late morning days became what most people call early morning days.

Night owling is more fun when you wake up to do it.

It's the solitude bit.

I love to work, so much of the world loves loud, so much of the world believes loud is necessary.

Worse: So much of the world believes loud is the way to be successful.

So it's the solitude bit.

'Office Space,' as artists call it.

We've tried to make the time artists spend working sensational.

Some art forms the stigma doesn't deter too much from. Theatre, film, popular music.

But the best art, even from the collaborative art forms, begins with the idea of one artist in one quiet space.

Alone.

Everything is born in the dark.
