I Write the Sunrise

Another episode of Sunshine Times, with +he Ghos+.

Hope all is well.

On with the show.

Words and pictures, pictures from words.

Still a couple hours till sunlight. Slow word morning so far.

They have to show up, the words have no choice.

Even words saying words don’t want to show up are words showing up, not to mention self-contradictory.

Write them down. The rhythm’s the thing. Give the sentences a melody for the words to fall into.

It’s what my ‘Good morning…’ starting line is for… The drummer taps the sticks, time to play.

It’s also kind and poetical, like me, of course.

Humble, too. Also like me, of course.

How’s your day?

Nothing profound or poetical to say this morning. Other than the poetry of practicality.

It’s a journal, a chronological record of the sunrise.

“I write the sunrise.” A good tagline. If ever a journal should have one.

Sometimes it’s just time for coffee, breakfast, feed and walk the dog.

Sometimes it’s talk about the weather.

Though, get a poet writing about the weather and watch out (!). Meteorological Meteor Metaphors come pouring down.

• There’s dreams.
• There’s the importance of dreaming.
• There’s morality of the spirit. (The only kind of morality, by the way.)
• There’s faerie tales and magic. (Hints, at least. There’s much more in another place, at another time.)
• There’s you. Could hardly have a here without the there of you. A word without an audience is just a funny grunt. Remember?

Find a friend tangible or imagined (though they’re the same), don’t grunt funny, start your own journal or keep one going, and make a better day.
