Out of the Air

The trend of humanity away from an oral language to a written one calls for a major shift in our definition of what it means, and more importantly what it can and might mean, to be alive.

What is a Dream? Where does it come from? Why is it as necessary as water and none of us discuss it for more than a moment or two (the functionality and reason for it) at a time?

Science dismisses ‘why’ at the start. This fact is a positive for science, but it leaves a vital part of the human experience out of the whole.

We get physical and rational. Numbers and rules. Watches and what makes them tick longer.

We focus on the battery life and not what the phone can do.

Yes, to the hardware, and we drop the software off at the start as a pie in the sky nuisance.

What’s the spirit have to do with it? What’s a dream for? What's The Imagination and why is it as mandatory as a heartbeat and none discuss it?

Fantasy is real. Our language for how to discuss the reality of our Faerie tales, our myths, and the archetypes of day to day is far behind science and athletic prowess, numbers and measured feet rule over letters and measured feet!

And, so, we find ourselves depressed, bouncing round and round checking tasks off of sheets apprehensive to stop for fear of what our dreams might tell us. Might tell us that what's missing is a better way.

What is Art?

What is missing. <—

We can Google Art.
Why can’t Google art?

It can!

An artist's dream starts the algorithm and adjusts it as it goes until the intended vision is reached.

Yes, programmers and web surfers get your brushes.

A story conveyed is an expression about today. This day. Not antiquity. Not yesterday’s trope.

We yearn to create, but our means went stale. AI, and all things digital, bring us fresh means.

Our stories call for resurrection. Not the message; the means of conveyance. Meaning: You.

The world is dreams; the world is brand new.

We must move forward.

We must digitally delve into the unconscious and out of the air.
