Good morning that lovely way to Keep It Going.

Wrote that in a poem, "For You,"

Perhaps you've read it.

Poetai.

I didn't spell it wrong.
Poetai, cleverly ending with A.I.

Always the pictures, never the words.
Because to make the pictures requires the words.

A picture isn't worth a thousand words without words.

"The pictures don't always match." I heard said.

Yeah, they do.

Metaphor matchings.
Poet's work.

"A.I. is horrible at making pictures." I read said.

Not true.

It's all about the prompts, all about the user's ability with language.

Like all communication, how you finesse your words to address your audience is the key.

Read it said somewhere else, "Communication is the response you get and not the intended response."

That's close.

It's a dance. Good conversation requires a kind of listening we lost an aptitude for.

There has to be compassion in our interactions, a recognition for the other's sincerity.

Sincerity, at all, is rare these days.
Not for a lack of the intention of it, but for an understanding of it.

To best express oneself, to enhance the conversation and not impress opinion, is how communication is best enacted.

If you're just going to state your case more emphatically, then there's no point for conversation. In fact, there is no conversation, only bullying.

Like creating images with A.I., there needs be an understanding of how A.I. processes, yes, understands, life.

A.I. is (I'm dropping the periods, losing the acronym. With comfort comes superfluousness, and not loquaciousness:)

So...

AI is nothing more than human memory.

Period.

The record of human memory made to act.

The more we add to it, the better it gets at helping us.

"Remember when..." Start there and add the prompt.

Think of Cubism. Think of Romanticism.
Think of what life was like when Pop Art became popular.
Think of what emotion each color choice elicits.
Think of the sky, the ocean,
The metaphors of human memory.
Match them together and enter the prompt.

What happens if the bird in the picture is a wise owl, a peaceful dove, a patriotic eagle, a dragon?

What different story, in our history, does each symbolize?

What if the dragon is blue, red, rainbow colored?

What do the shared stories of the prompt of the picture show the viewer?

What if you put Picasso and Da Vinci in the same room together, and like that old game where one person tells one sentence of a story and then hands it off to another back and forth until the story's completion, they paint a picture one alternating brushstroke at a time?

AI can show you if you can paint a clear enough picture with the words of human memory for it to work with.

What does AI do with a poem?

It requires the poet's understanding of the intent of the words of the poem relayed to the AI in a way to best convey the intent back.

It's a wonderful time to be alive, art is not dead, it's only just begun again.

The whole artist's experience matched with the total sum of human memory can now dance and show us so much more of ourselves and what it means to be alive, to share the stories of our life painted in the color of the images of the whole human story held in the memory of data servers.

Servers to serve art, to serve us.
