Good morning, that wonderful way.
Comfort and joy.
How are you?
Some more snow here.
"Just enough to clean it up some," as we say around here.
Which means not enough to bother snow-blowing, but enough to cover the sight of the salty and sandy mess of the last storm.
A blemish cover-up, a make-up artist might call it.

The Public Works plow truck just drove by. Abe rolled his eyes, lifted an eyebrow, then back to daydreaming.

With a new coat of snow the moonlight works.
The floor and frost tops of things light up to show where you are.
Oak trees and pine trees and rooftops for street lights.

Slow calendar, Winter's still weeks away.
It's an agreed on guesstimate anyway.
Nature knows best when to change seasons.
Numbers help us spend more days here. Arbitrary rulers for rule. Agreed upon measures for measure.

A slow sweep of snow, like a cool bedsheet drops in bits over The Earth as she sleeps, stipples her in soft light so her eyes might remember where she is should she wake up and want reassurance her dreams go somewhere more than to other singular dreams, but to the dreams of the whole world, to later share in a spectacle we call a day.
If the sun ever decides to get on with the show.

Take care, enjoy the weather, Nature's and your own, and have your better day.
