So Much Magic This World Won't Do

I don't want to play at pretense. I won't. How to be? Don't ask the question and just be. That's the answer I get. The attention I mean. I speak to the attention.

Such simple things. Stopping to smell flowers business. Mostly just the stopping.

The Lion bears an easy confidence. The Owl stays wise through the night. The Great Blue Heron is still to make the day. And the Dragon is so much magic this world won't do. Five senses are not enough.

Flying dragon-back may not be the only way out of Hell, but it is my way. We find ways to keep going. We find ways to do our dream or we lie miserable and empty in alley ways full of that thing called what we should.

We should want this. We should want that. Having got them we're miserable and empty in alley ways full of that nothing but that something called what we should.

The magnificent magic of dragons is the Imagination, the all-in-all. It takes six senses plus all the rest to see one. Then all the confidence wisdom and calm a person can hold to know one.

The Dragon is the dreamer's dream; the carrier of the world.

I don't want to play at pretense. I won't. I'll let free the dream.

Hitch my world on the back of a dragon.
