Something Called Empathy

Good morning, The Wonderfell Way.
O/
Welcome back.
Sunshine, daydreams, the dream of today, you and I and what reading can do.
Hope things are well.
Here we go.
On with our show...
Transition Day. Punto, period, punto.
Like the world rearranged parts while you slept, like everything in your life is somehow different, like the ingredients are all the same but something poured sugar or salt over all the pieces of your life while you were dreaming.
Like today.
I know Transition Days happen to you, too.
It's my work to consider such things.
If you ever felt or said: "Something about this feels different or not right or too easy," then you know about Transition Days.
Things fall into place, the previously stuck ball starts to roll for no apparent reason at all... change happened.
Measurable by the experience of juxtaposing old memories to new events and having their relationships bring about unexpected results.
Change isn't in the air; it is the air, on a Transition Day.
A rather loud one this morning, for me.
"What's changed, Ghos+?"
- Good Reader with a Very Good Question
That's the way and reason for days like today, to find out what changed to trigger the new feelings.
It's like when something is upsetting a good friend of yours.
They don't mention it to you, nothing about their body language is different, but you sense it.
There's a lot more going on with what feelings are for than just what physical touch can do.
The unspoken sad dreams of a friend can bring you down.
Their unsaid joys can lift you up, too.
I know you know this truth true.
If you ever cared about anything deeply you have something called: Empathy.
You also have my respect, my hopes, and my joy.
Empathy is the missing ingredient in our lives today.
Lack of it explains every newscast we roll our eyes at, shake our heads at.
If you read me much chances are you're an empathic person.
The best kind of person.
The kind living right.
Not such an easy thing to be empathic and free, but it's the best kind of life.
A knowing, a sense, that others are feeling life too and we feel something, our experience is changed, because they are... that's empathy.
It's crucial to the success of everyone that we recognize the reality of empathy.
And take responsibility for it.
The emotional tone of every person, place, or thing is directly affected by our own tone.
There's a whole felt world we never see but we feel... together.
Recognize how you feel for no reason at all, find a reason, do something about it, see how it affects the rest of your day in unexpected ways, take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.
