How about today is National Give a Friend an Unexpected Gift Day?

It's best they don't know what day it is. We'd have to change the name...

National Hey Where's My Present Day, isn't festive at all.

Abe's out patrolling the yard.

Sometimes crows pass by, turn back, then stop.

This morning is a sometime.

He only chases birds that eat meat.

Songbirds get a free pass unless they loiter too long, like self-entitled American Robins with their 'I saw it first' attitudes.

Lola's still in one piece.

Abe's laying with her on the porch with vigilant eyes on the yard.

All's well here in place and in dreams.

A good day to think about what to add on to each day.
